ITINERARY
DAY 1:
Fly into San Juan / Puerto Rico
DAY 2:
Leave San Juan for the Branch in Guayaubo.
Tour the Branch and enjoy the encouraging association of the Bethel
brothers
and sisters.
When you are done with your tour, head back to the
hotel to change into clothes worthy of a full afternoon and evening
enjoying the many beaches of Northern and Eastern Puerto Rico.
We can beach hop from Isle Verde over to Luquillo,
a popular beach, and spend the rest of the day in the sun and sand.

DAY 3:
Find just the right cafe to have a tropical
breakfast, and then it’s off for a 120 mile panoramic route Cordillera
Central and the rain forest with stunning vistas. A scenic drive through giant ferns,
finger orchids, royal palms, bamboo, and mahogany and tabonuco trees
that form a natural canopy over the winding road to La Mina
Recreation Area. This is the beginning of the trails through the
only tropical rainforest in the US National Forest System, El
Yunque. There are many trails from which to choose, but the
Big Tree Trail leads to the incredible La Mina Falls.
Enjoy lunch at one of the several road side stands that can cook up a
brunch like you have never experienced anywhere else in the world. Now
that you have also worked up a thirst you might want to try a coco frio,
a cold, unripe coconut filled with juice, which you drink through a
plastic straw.
DAY 4:
Fly into Santo
Domingo / Dominican Republic. Meet your private chauffeur, Rodolfo, at the
airport . Depart for a beautiful three hour drive through the
interior of the country with picturesque mountains and countryside to the
beautiful Peninsula of Samana where the quaint little town of Samana is situated along
the sea.
For early arrivals: Browse around town to unique tropical shopping plaza "Pueblo Principe"
Visit Samana's colorful Tropical Flea Market located along the great Bay of Samana and meet the many brothers and sisters who have stalls there, selling paintings, jewelry, clothing and all kinds of island souvenirs!

DAY 5:
7:45 a.m. - Tropical Island breakfast in buffet
8:30 a.m. - Leave for a one hour trip into the interior of the Peninsula to its northern coast to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world - Rincon Beach for a full day of swimming, riding the waves and sunbathing.-


Enjoy freshly caught fish cooked on the beach with native cuisine.
5:30 pm- 6:30 pm - Return to accommodations.
7:00 p.m. Dinner
DAY 6:
8:00 a.m. - Tropical Island breakfast in buffet.
9:00 a.m. - Excursion to beautiful Barcardi Island in the Great Bay of Samana.
For full day of swimming/snorkeling (bring own equipment) sunbathing
Noon Delicious Dominican cuisine - with fresh fish cooked on the beach
4:30 p.m. - Return to accommodations between 4:30 - 5:30 pm

DAY 7:
6:00 a.m. - Early Breakfast
6:30 a.m. Leave for a 3-hour cross island sightseeing tour through the interior of the country to the southern shore along the Caribbean to Santo Domingo to visit the Dominican Branch.
9:30 a.m. Tour of Bethel Bethel Tour :
12:00 noon Packed snacks to eat on trip back to Samana (provided by TIBB)
2:00 pm Luncheon: Dominican Cuisine on beautiful Las Galeras Beach end of the Samana Peninsula. Swimming all afternoon
7:00-7:30 Dinner in the pueblo
Day 8:
8:00 a.m. Tropical Island Breakfast
8:30 a.m. - Leave for an all-day adventure to EL LIMON, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country, on horses enjoying a guided tour through the beautiful tropical countryside.
On the way to the falls you can see a very varied landscape, including grassy hills dotted with royal palms, cultivated fields, coffee and cocoa plots, small holdings, riverine forest, oranges and grapefruits in abundance, and some remnants of rain forest. At one point the path leads under a toppled tree that has become a natural bridge covered in epiphytes (mainly bromeliads) colonizing the now horizontally curved trunk. Birds abound in the early morning as well as beautiful butterflies of all shapes and colors.
The trail, La Manzana, is about 2 kilometers long, and once you arrive there and dismount your horse you will then enjoy a 300 meter hike down to the SALTO DEL LIMON for swimming. Upon your return, an incredibly delicious buffet of local cuisine will be awaiting you under a tropical cabaña. [included in price of tour]
AFTERNOON: Tour across the Peninsula to the little village of Las Terrenas, located on the norther coast, where many beautiful beaches are located. Swimming, souvenier shopping & dinner along the sea if desired.
