DAY 2:
Leave San Juan for the Branch in Guayaubo. Tour the Branch and enjoy the encouraging association of the Bethel brothers and sisters. When you are done with your tour, head back to the hotel to change into clothes worthy of a full afternoon and evening enjoying the many beaches of Northern and Eastern Puerto Rico. We can beach hop from Isle Verde over to Luquillo, a popular beach, and spend the rest of the day in the sun and sand.

DAY 3:
Find just the right cafe to have a tropical breakfast, and then it’s off for a 120 mile panoramic route Cordillera Central and the rain forest with stunning vistas.  A scenic drive through giant ferns, finger orchids, royal palms, bamboo, and mahogany and tabonuco trees that form a natural canopy over the winding road to La Mina Recreation Area. This is the beginning of the trails through the only tropical rainforest in the US National Forest System, El Yunque. There are many trails from which to choose, but the Big Tree Trail leads to the incredible La Mina Falls. Enjoy lunch at one of the several road side stands that can cook up a brunch like you have never experienced anywhere else in the world. Now that you have also worked up a thirst you might want to try a coco frio, a cold, unripe coconut filled with juice, which you drink through a plastic straw.
